Controversial activist, VeryDarkMan, has publicly accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of attempting to frame him.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, he alleged that the EFCC is planning his arrest due to his outspoken criticism of its chairman, Olanipekun Olukoyede.
According to VeryDarkMan, he received inside information that a lawyer recently presented a video to the EFCC showing him spraying money at an event. He further claimed that an EFCC officer revealed he was already on their radar for consistently challenging the commission and its leadership.
“EFCC Abuja, I heard you had two visitors today—one an influencer and the other a highly influential lawyer. You might be wondering how I know, but I have informants in your office. They came because of me. They presented clips of me spraying money and said this was the perfect chance to target VeryDarkMan.
“The officer they spoke to reportedly agreed, saying, ‘Yes, VeryDarkMan has been attacking us, speaking against our Oga, and addressing EFCC rudely.’ So now, it seems your interests have aligned, and you’re plotting against me,” he claimed.
